Abstract | A Raman lidar based on a KrF laser have been used for continuous monitoring of atmospheric water vapor profile evolutions during 24-hour periods. Laser wavelength and Raman signals lie in the solar blind region where solar radiation at ground level is completely absorbed by atmospheric ozone. The measured profiles are correlated with ground measurements at atmospheric parameters and the expected behavior of boundary layer. |
