Laura Caiazzo
Laura Caiazzo graduated in Chemistry at the University of Florence and obtained her PhD in Chemical Sciences at the University of Florence, discussing a thesis about the study of the chemical composition of atmospheric particulate as a tool in understanding Arctic and Antarctic ecosystems. After working as post-doc at the University of Florence and at INFN (National Institute for Nuclear Physics), currently she works at ENEA C.R. Casaccia, in Rome, as reasercher. Her scientific activity concerns the optimization and validation of measurement systems both in field and in laboratory for the chemical characterisation and study of different organic micro pollutants and contaminants in different matrices, as atmosphere, waters and soils/sediments, and their impact on the environment. The main instruments used in the laboratory are GC-MS and UPLC-QToF-MS.
