Traditional filtration materials, predominantly composed of non-biodegradable synthetic fibers, often fall short
in capturing ultrafine particulate matter and contribute to environmental pollution. Our research addresses these
challenges by incorporating sustainable materials into the filtration process. Our innovative membranes, derived from
a Silk Fibroin-based matrix, exhibit exceptional performance in pollutant capture while being biodegradable, thus
minimizing ecological impact
